Hands down one of the best bowlers India has ever produced. Javagal Srinath took upon the weight of Indian pace bowling for 11 years, hanging up the boots in 2003. You still see Srinath as a match referee.
Srinath's numbers speak for themselves. In 67 Test matches, he managed to take 236 wickets at an econ rate of 2.86. taking 10 five-wicket hauls & 1 ten-wicket haul. His numbers are as impressive in ODIs as well. 315 wickets with an econ rate of 4.45.
Loved watching Srinath on the field back then, love to watch him at the coin toss from time to time.
